Experience the Process to Learn the Process

The catechumenal process began as the way of forming Christians in the ancient world; now it is transforming lives and congregations in the 21st century. It is not another program but a process responsive to people who seek to come to the way of Christ or to deepen their faith and spirituality within a community of worship, prayer, study and outreach. Some seekers are not baptized, some are, but the process can guide any seeker to answer the Spirit’s call.

Our current training approach is through a series of online workshops in which participants will learn the foundational material, the nuts-and-bolts of developing a catechumenal ministry, and will experience catechesis and ritual practices. Training is geared for congregational teams (clergy and one or more lay congregational members) new to the catechumenal process or for new members joining a team.

Training Events are led by teams of practitioners from Journey to Baptismal Living: NAAC.

“The small groups were excellent ‘hands-on’ experience and good for community building.” – Ashville 2017 Training Participant
